The phrase was at the top of the list for 5 O’Clock Shadow before the band even had a name.

It took years for the group of equally talented musicians to find each other as the band’s founding purpose was to bring together accomplished players who were not only capable on their instruments, but ready to ”Step up to the mic”- harmonizing through a diverse list of songs.

The result was an eclectic setlist of familiar tunes highlighted by tight vocal arrangements. One look at a 5 O’Clock shadow setlist and you’ll discover a varied range of familiar hits by the likes of Steely Dan, Al Green, Tom Petty, and the Beatles to name just a few (as well as b-sides and deep tracks to boot).

5 O’Clock Shadow has been playing in and around the Memphis area for over 7 years at great venues like Huey’s (all locations); Tony’s Trophy Room Collierville; 10th Inning Southaven; Lafayette’s Music Room; Neil’s Music Room; TJ Mulligans Kirby; Sidecar Cafe among others and would love to grace the stage at your venue, too!
